Flip-Flopping in Flipsville is the first mission of the Flipsville Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Mission[edit]
Mario will land on the Inner House Planet, where he will notice Pupdozers walking around. The player can defeat these enemies by flipping them over with the grates on the ground. Mario will have to make his way to the Launch Star by exploring the planet and flipping through grates. One of the grates leads to the level's Comet Medal. After Mario finds the Launch Star at the top, he will be taken to the Outer House Planet. Mario must flip the gate in front of him and follow the path under the planet, where he will find another grate. Mario must pound the grate and follow the Chomps' trail, and at the end, there is a Launch Star that will take the player to the Moving Gate Planet. Mario must go to the underside of the planet and jump onto the moving platform. Mario must jump from platform to platform, avoiding Spikes and walls, until he gets to the Gate End Planet. Mario should take the Launch Star to a nearby Starshroom where a Checkpoint Flag and Lumalee are. After that, Mario should take the Launch Star to Glamdozer's Planet.
Once Mario lands on the planet, Glamdozer will wake up, angry at Mario after he flips the grate she's sleeping on. She will chase Mario around the planet. Mario has to go to the underside of the planet and pound a grate when Glamdozer is over it. This will damage Glamdozer and release Star Bits. Glamdozer will start to shoot fireballs that will cover a flipping platform in lava. Mario must avoid this new hazard and pound the grates on Glamdozer two more times. Once this has been done, Glamdozer will explode, revealing the Power Star for Mario to recover.
